The Product:

Porta-Floor flooring is a system of plastic tiles, designed to provide solid, finished floor surface for temporary use. Porta-Floor is available for rent in either a grass green or neutral grey color. When installed, the flooring will follow the natural contours of the ground and can be laid over grass, gravel, sand, snow or regular surfaces such as asphalt.

It creates a solid surface for tables, chairs, stages and dance floor. For higher end events, Porta-Floor presents a clean, dry floor surface suitable for high heels and evening gowns, for a fraction of the cost of plywood subfloor.

The tiles are each 12” wide x 4” long and join using universal male/ female edges. Apex provides the system pre-fabricated into 5’ x 20’ rolls (100sqft) which works with most tent configurations. Individual or groups of tiles can be removed to work around permanent obstacles such as trees or planters. To handle the problem of wet floor surfaces during your event, the Porta-floor tiles are ½” thick and have been designed to allow the flow of surface water underneath. The tiles also have holes in the plastic which, when laid over lawns, allow the grass below to breathe.

For any event that requires a higher level of finishing, carpet can be laid over the Porta-Floor, creating a very classy event floor.
